This proposal focuses on redesigning and expanding the existing Cardano Catalyst dashboard to provide a more comprehensive, dynamic, and user-friendly platform for ecosystem analytics. The development work will include the following key components:

1. Dashboard Redesign and Optimization: -Redesign the dashboard’s user interface to improve usability, accessibility, and visual appeal. -Optimize the backend infrastructure to ensure fast, reliable, and scalable data processing and visualization.
2. Enhanced Catalyst Data Integration: -Update the dashboard to include real-time data from the latest funding rounds (e.g., Fund 13) and enable daily updates for active funds. -Redesign the user interface to improve the display of proposal information, voting trends, rating distributions, and interactive analytics for historical and current funds. -Develop a dedicated subsection for advanced governance analysis, including the Banzhaf Power Index (BPI), to evaluate the distribution of voting power in past and current funding rounds.
3. Social Engagement Analytics: -Integrate data from platforms like Reddit and the Cardano Forum to provide insights into community discussions, sentiment, and engagement trends (as long as these services are available). -Develop visualizations and tools to help users explore social activity data in the context of funding rounds and ecosystem growth.
4. Developer Activity Tracking: -Incorporate GitHub data, including commits, pull requests, and active contributors, to highlight project development progress and ecosystem growth. -Create interactive visualizations to allow users to explore developer activity metrics and correlate them with funding and social engagement data.
5. Token Pricing Integration: -Integrate real-time pricing data for major Cardano tokens to provide financial context to ecosystem activity. -Develop tools to visualize token pricing trends alongside funding, social, and developer data for a holistic view of the ecosystem.

Project Catalyst is a cornerstone of Cardano’s decentralized governance, enabling community-driven innovation and collaboration. While existing tools provide valuable insights into funding data, there is a significant opportunity to enhance the community’s ability to engage with and understand the ecosystem by consolidating a wider range of data—such as real-time funding updates, social engagement metrics, developer activity, and token pricing trends—into a single, user-friendly platform. This would empower users to make more informed decisions and participate more effectively in the ecosystem.

This proposal will provide a user-friendly dashboard that consolidates critical ecosystem data.

Voters: The dashboard will provide real-time insights into voting trends, and current fund analytics, helping voters make informed decisions. The inclusion of the Banzhaf Power Index (BPI) as part of the governance analytics will offer insights into the distribution of voting power, ensuring voters understand their influence in the governance process. Additionally, access to social engagement data (e.g., Reddit and Forum discussions) will help voters gauge community sentiment.

Proposers: Proposers will gain access to detailed analytics on funding rounds, voting patterns, and historical data, enabling them to refine their submissions and better align with community priorities. Insights from social engagement metrics will help proposers understand community sentiment and tailor their outreach efforts. Furthermore, GitHub data (e.g., commits, pull requests, and active contributors) will provide proposers with a clearer picture of project development activity, helping them benchmark their progress and improve collaboration.

Data Analysts: Advanced visualizations and interactive tools will allow analysts to explore funding data, social activity, and developer metrics in depth, uncovering trends and insights that support data-driven decision-making. The integration of GitHub data will provide a comprehensive view of developer activity, while social engagement analytics will offer insights into community sentiment and participation. These features will empower analysts to generate actionable insights that benefit the entire ecosystem.

Delegated Representatives (DReps): The voting power analysis, including the BPI, will help DReps understand the distribution of influence in the system, empowering them to better represent their constituents and advocate for equitable governance. Access to real-time funding data, social engagement metrics, and developer activity will enable DReps to stay informed about community priorities and emerging trends, ensuring they can make decisions that reflect the needs and interests of the ecosystem.

General Community Members: Real-time token pricing data will provide financial context to ecosystem activity, helping users stay informed about market trends. A unified platform for accessing Catalyst data, social engagement metrics, and developer activity will make it easier for community members to stay engaged and contribute meaningfully to the ecosystem. By consolidating these features into a single dashboard, the proposal will enhance transparency, foster informed participation, and empower all members of the Cardano community to engage more effectively in the governance and growth of the ecosystem.

We have a strong emphasis on trust and accountability, backed by our track record of delivering Project Catalyst projects to completion(9 officially closed). This includes the Wolfram Catalyst Impact Dashboard project, which was developed from initial concept through to its current production V1 stage. One of our completed projects is the Wolfram Price Feed infrastructure project and plan to integrate this pricing data to provide comprehensive insights into the Cardano ecosystem's financial activity alongside governance and development metrics.

Wolfram Blockchain Labs (WBL) is committed to ensuring the long-term success and reliability of the Cardano Catalyst dashboard. Following deployment, our team will provide ongoing maintenance, updates, and technical support for at least one year. This includes regular data refreshes, performance optimizations, bug fixes, and minor feature enhancements to keep the dashboard aligned with the evolving needs of the Cardano ecosystem. WBL’s stewardship guarantees the platform remains a stable, up-to-date resource for the community.

This proposal builds on the community support received for our Fund 8 project, the Wolfram Catalyst Impact Dashboard, which was successfully completed and remains publicly available. The current project extends this work by integrating pricing data, development analytics and real-time funding data, further enhancing its value to the Cardano ecosystem.

Access to Current Funding Round Data(external) Real-time data integration depends on access to ongoing Project Catalyst funding round data, which is managed and provided by the Catalyst team. Terms of use for the data to be displayed in the dashboard, such as external social services like GitHub or Reddit.
