Description

Abstract

This proposal outlines a strategic multi-phase collaboration between NODO, a high-impact Web3 user acquisition and omnichain infrastructure platform. The primary objective of this proposal is to significantly grow the number of individual and enterprise members of Intersect, particularly in emerging markets such as Nigeria, Cameroon and Dubai while building the foundations for long-term adoption, governance participation, and ecosystem sustainability. Over the course of 2025, NODO will execute a three-phase engagement strategy—Community Growth, Membership Activation, and Technical Integration—to drive measurable increases in both user sign-ups and enterprise partnerships, aligning with Intersect’s global mission and scaling goals. This proposal details a strategic, multi-phase partnership between NODO and Intersect, with the goal of significantly expanding Intersect's individual and enterprise membership base in emerging African markets. NODO, a Web3 user acquisition and omnichain infrastructure platform, will leverage its expertise to drive measurable increases in both user sign-ups and enterprise partnerships throughout 2025.

  1. Strategic Goals & Impact The partnership is designed to address two core challenges currently faced by Intersect:
  • Low volume of individual member registrations, which hinders the reach and diversity of Cardano governance.

My analysis of this project

impact : the project will very impactfull if success. It will grow the community of cardano through intersect

feasibility: as long as the project handled by proffesional team. This project will running smoothly. Minor issues are inevitable, but a professional team should be able to handle them. Cause problem is normal in a project.

Value for money: financial plan is well managed. The team members are offered good salary. That's good to support sustainability of this project. When we hire team with good salary it's likely we get the good quality team too. However, I suggest optimizing the budget for events. Perhaps we can reduce the number of offline event so we can doing cost eficiency and focus more on online events to improve cost efficiency.

sucess metrics: -reach 50.000 registered members is a good metrics, but I would suggest to adding metric for "how many active members?". Because 50.000 registered members doesn't guarantee they all active users. -This proposal doesn’t include metrics related to TVL growth and and transaction volume of cardano. I recommend including these metrics for a more complete evaluation.

NODO’s got an exciting plan to team up with Intersect and supercharge Cardano’s growth in Africa and the Middle East, focusing on vibrant hubs like Nigeria, Cameroon and Dubai. They’re bringing their A-game in Web3 marketing and community-building to pull this off. Picture a three-step journey: first, sparking buzz with events and AMAs; then, getting folks and businesses signed up as active members; and finally, hitting big numbers 50,000+ individual members and 20 enterprise partners by late 2025. With NODO’s track record of rallying 450,000+ users and cool collabs with names like Tether, they’re ready to make Cardano shine.

This proposal is really well thought out. When it comes to onboarding and building a community in a new area, NODO is definitely a master. The tiered strategy makes sense, they emphasize deeper engagement and relationships beyond just registration. I think they will achieve their goals as their previous efforts with Tether, ICP, and others have shown that they can really produce significant results. Also, in terms of expanding their reach globally, if Cardano can get 50,000+ new Intersect members from the Middle East and Africa, it would be a significant advantage.

The NODO proposal presents a strategic and impactful approach to expanding Intersect membership in Africa and Dubai. With a strong track record in Web3 engagement, it promises increased Cardano visibility, ecosystem participation, and long-term adoption through targeted community building, marketing, and education in key emerging markets.

This is a strong and well-structured proposal that clearly identifies a major opportunity to scale Intersect’s impact across high-growth regions like Nigeria, Cameroon, and Dubai. The approach NODO presents is not only strategic but also backed by an impressive track record of execution in the Web3 space. Their prior success with global partners like Tether, ICP Hub, and Canza Finance demonstrates their ability to mobilize both grassroots and institutional support in emerging markets.

What stands out in this proposal is the multi-phase rollout plan. Each stage building upon the previous one, with clear KPIs and tangible deliverables. From targeted offline events to AMA campaigns with massive reach, it’s evident that NODO understands what it takes to drive real user engagement and sustained community activation. Their focus on multilingual outreach (Pidgin, Hausa, and French), use case storytelling, and developer engagement shows a depth of insight into what drives adoption in diverse cultural contexts.

NODO’s ecosystem-first mindset aligns well with Intersect’s goals of building a global, decentralized governance model. The expected outcome of onboarding 50,000+ individual members and 50 enterprise partners within 12 months is ambitious but appears realistic given the infrastructure and experience already in place. Their milestone-based approach to contracting also reflects accountability and alignment with community standards.

Supporting this proposal means supporting real, scalable inclusion of underrepresented regions into Cardano’s governance and innovation pipeline. It will help create a more diverse, representative ecosystem and deepen the legitimacy of Cardano’s decentralized ambitions. This is exactly the kind of work Intersect should champion to fulfill its mission of democratization.

NODO has consistently shown its ability to execute high-impact campaigns towards Web3 adoption across Africa and beyond. With hundreds of thousand users onboarded and strategic partnerships with key Web3 players, their results speak for themselves. This team is capable of delivering based on Intersect’s growth objectives.

Overall, this nodo proposal shows the potential to increase adoption and engagement in the cardano ecosystem. With a strong nodo footprint, there are some notes, namely regarding the measurement of the proposal, the quality of membership and nodo engagement needs to consider how the quality of members, for example the level of participation in governance and member involvement in the ecosystem must also be measured and ensured.

I think in my honest opinion, this NODO's Proposal was becomed one of the solution in a massive adoptions especially in africa within Nigeria, Cameroon and also Dubai. Expanding Intersect goals will be achieveable within the 12 Months target and also as NODO Experience in web3 and promising program to make Cardano Ecosystems Become More Larger and adoptable in the Worlds. NODO’s proposal to expand Intersect’s membership in Nigeria, Cameroon, and Dubai is ambitious and well-structured, leveraging their proven Web3 marketing expertise. However, the aggressive target of 50,000+ members in 12 months seems optimistic given regional challenges like regulatory hurdles and infrastructure limitations, particularly in Cameroon. The phased approach and strong partnerships are strengths, but clearer metrics for enterprise engagement and long-term retention would enhance credibility. Community endorsement on X spaces is promising, yet broader stakeholder input could solidify support. Overall, it’s a bold plan with high potential, but execution risks need careful monitoring.

Apr 30, 2025, 08:13 AM UTC

You are proposing to increase the number of Intersect members by 50,000 in Africa and Dubai. Currently, there are less than 2,000 Intersect members, so this is more than 20 times as many. INTERSECT committee elections are 1 member = 1 vote. I think this means that people in Africa and Dubai Hub can nominate all committee members. What are your thoughts on this...?

Apr 30, 2025, 08:13 AM UTC

This proposal shows great potential, with a clear vision to significantly increase the number of members and enterprise partnerships within the Web3 ecosystem, especially targeting fast-growing markets like Nigeria, Cameroon, and Dubai. Given NODO's proven track record in executing successful projects in similar regions, I strongly support this proposal for inclusion in the upcoming Cardano budget. With a few enhancements to ensure long-term sustainability and address possible challenges, this project could have a substantial and lasting impact on the Cardano ecosystem.

This proposal addresses a critical need in the Cardano ecosystem: strengthening the visibility and resilience of small, local stake pools. By combining education with marketing support, this initiative could empower SPOs to compete more effectively while preserving decentralization. It would be even stronger with a showcase of expected KPIs or example partnerships. Still, I fully support this — decentralization thrives when every corner of the network has a voice!

In my own opinion, I'd say that this is a good and well-structured plan to promote Intersect's growth and impact in important emerging markets. By utilizing NODO's expertise in Web 3 user acquisition and community building, I'd also say that this project is best positioned to achieve its set goals and objectives in alignment with Cardano's global vision.

Here are the recommendations I can offer:

  1. Clarify Outsourcing Details: Specify the types of outsourced services (e.g., influencers or content production) and set strict performance targets for third-party partners.

  2. Boost Marketing Budget: Redirect 10-15% of outsourcing funds (approximately 20,000-30,000 USD) to support more robust digital advertising and content creation efforts.

  3. Streamline Efforts in Cameroon: Adopt hybrid event formats (online and offline) and prioritize Web3 education to optimize costs.

  4. Track Progress Regularly: Provide quarterly reports highlighting quantitative metrics (like member growth) and qualitative indicators (such as retention rates).

  5. Sharpen Focus on Enterprises: Prioritize partnerships with major companies in Dubai by hosting tailored workshops to spark their interest.

This proposal appears promising and well detailed, with strong potential to expand reach and participation in strategic markets such as Nigeria, Cameroon, and Dubai. With a structured, phased approach, NODO’s solid track record, and measurable targets, I believe this initiative can deliver a significant and long-term impact on the Cardano ecosystem.

I think this proposal presents a well-structured, data-backed plan to expand Intersect membership across Nigeria, Cameroon, and Dubai, leveraging NODO’s proven expertise in community building and Web3 user acquisition. It clearly outlines phased goals, KPIs, and regional strategies. However, the abstract contains redundant wording, some enterprise membership targets are inconsistent, and the role of Intersect itself is underexplored. Simplifying the title, clarifying stakeholder responsibilities, and adding more detail on milestone-based contracting would enhance clarity and professionalism.

I think this proposal looks promising. The NODO team’s three-phase plan and their experience with big communities and campaigns show they can handle a project like this. Their strategy with AMAs, offline events, and social media is a smart way to build a community.

I do have some concerns about keeping it sustainable long-term. The first year is well-planned, but I’d like more details on what happens after that. It’d also help to know more about the roles of local partners and how they’ll measure success at each phase.

Overall, though, the approach seems solid. NODO’s mix of online and offline strategies is promising. I'm pretty sure this project could do well in the Web3 space.

Great opportunity and big leap forward to NODO and Cardano Fondation thorough Intersect Membership. The proposal have a strength approach because NODO clearly understand the nuances and potential of Nigeria, Cameroon and Dubai, has strong past performance metrics in these areas and backed by EMURGO, Tether, Bitget, and others lends credibility and demonstrates strong business networks and have aggressive KPI's which is good for accountability and sustainability.

With detailed and budgeting breakdown $449,083 over 12 months and three-phase structure (Community Growth, Membership Activation and Further Growth), we have to acknowledge the potential risk like goverment regulation changes, taxes, influencer disengagement, platform tech delays and offer the mitigation plan and monitoring performance for every phase. In addition, further analysis is needed, such as calculating the ROI, monthly financial report and transparency regarding the use of funds to gain trust.

The long term vision of the NODO and Cardano collaboration in Nigeria, Cameroon and Dubai is focused around ecosystem expansion, decentralized governance participation, and real world use cause blockchain adoption and Web3 inclusion. Looking forward to see how this project evolves.

Intersection of Communities

Cardano Community brings in blockchain infrastructure, decentralized governance, identity systems, and financial inclusion tools.

Nodo Community (if you’re referring to a network like NODO for decentralized social or tech innovation) likely brings a broader scope of community-led development, possibly with a focus on open tech, decentralized systems, or local innovation hubs.

Strategic Locations: Africa & Dubai

Africa: A fertile ground for real-world blockchain use cases like identity, agriculture, remittances, and education. Cardano already has partnerships here.

Dubai: A major tech, finance, and blockchain innovation hub with global visibility and funding access.

By bridging the two:

You can amplify innovation from Africa on a global stage through Dubai.

Offer a dual presence for networking, partnerships, and capital flow.

Build a cultural and economic bridge between emerging markets and global innovation centers.

Support systemsthis could become a flagship model for decentralized, cross-border collaboration — combining grassroots innovation (Africa) with global connectivity (Dubai).

Are you involved in building this? Or brainstorming the idea? I'd love to hear more about your vision.

I think it’s super cool if the NODO project can help grow the Cardano ecosystem. It’s not just about the community, it’s about giving people space to grow, share ideas, and bring new innovations. This could be a fun and powerful way for Cardano to reach more people and become even stronger. Who knows? NODO might play a big role if the proposal actually goes through

I agree with this proposal. It’s not just Africa and the Middle East that matter. In my opinion, Asian countries—especially Southeast Asia, like my country (Indonesia)—have a huge interest in the Web3 space, especially among the youth. However, the Web3 infrastructure is still underdeveloped and mostly limited to small communities. I truly hope that Node and Cardano can expand and organize more programs like this, more frequently and across more regions, so that Web3 communities in different countries can grow and the Web3 ecosystem can thrive globally
