Description

Andamio operates as a live infrastructure layer that accelerates contributor activation across the Cardano ecosystem.

Teams driving key Cardano projects define their onboarding paths — Andamio ensures talent verification and contribution tracking are seamless and real-time.

Andamio provides the ecosystem with:

  • Trusted contributor verification
  • Real-time contribution records
  • Live ecosystem reporting on talent readiness

This empowers Cardano’s ecosystem teams to move faster, scale confidently, and deepen decentralization.

  • Core Functions

Andamio consists of two integrated platforms:

Contribution Platform (entry point for project teams)

Learning Platform (supporting contributor readiness)

These platforms feed each other continuously, creating a loop between project needs and talent development.

For teams driving key Cardano projects, the Contribution Platform serves as the entry point, connecting live onboarding projects created by them, directly with the talent interested in participating.

  • Key Functions:
  1. Contribution Platform
    • Teams define and fund tasks.
    • Talent verified by the Learning Platform can contribute immediately.
    • Task completion triggers reward flows and contributor credential updates.
  2. Andamio Treasury Management
    • Secures task funding in escrow.
    • Automates reward distribution upon verified task completion.
  3. Dynamic Credentialing System
    • Issues Learner credentials for acquired skills.
    • Issues Contributor credentials for completed tasks.
    • Builds transparent, evolving contributor profiles.
  4. Learning Platform
    • Supports skill building for contributors not yet credentialed.
    • Teams define lesson structures and real-project assignments.
    • Assignments simulate real tasks, preparing talent for contribution readiness.
    • Talent only has to approve assignments to engage live projects — lessons come to the rescue if necessary.
  5. Continuous Feedback Loop
    • Task outcomes inform skill gaps and Learning Platform improvements.
    • Credentials evolve with contributor progress.
  6. Real-Time Visibility
    • Teams monitor talent pools in real time.
    • Accelerated hiring decisions reduce recruitment friction.

Problem Statement

As Cardano advances toward its decentralized future, a critical bottleneck has emerged: ecosystem-wide access to verified, job-ready talent across key projects.

Despite major progress in protocol development (Leios, Hydra, Mithril) and governance, Cardano’s growth is constrained by fragmented onboarding and a lack of verifiable contributor readiness.

Teams driving key Cardano projects spend months vetting talent, and the ecosystem at large is slowed by the inefficiencies of legacy hiring models. Today, there is no shared infrastructure for ecosystem-wide talent verification, activation, and contribution tracking

Without solving this, delivery timelines extend, core maintainers are overburdened, and Cardano’s progress toward decentralization risks being delayed.

Proposal Benefit

Andamio accelerates the Cardano ecosystem's growth by providing live, ecosystem-wide infrastructure that enables projects to identify, verify, and activate talent at scale.

Already live and operational, Andamio will:

  • Speed up hiring and contribution readiness for key ecosystem teams.
  • Provide Cardano-wide contributor verification, aligned with ecosystem governance goals.
  • Reduce friction between learning and contribution.
  • Generate real-time ecosystem insights on contributor readiness and project health.

With Andamio, the Cardano ecosystem benefits from:

  • Faster scaling of core technical projects.
  • Higher throughput of verified contributors.
  • Stronger decentralization through transparent talent pipelines.
  • Data-driven visibility of contributor growth across the ecosystem.

The proposal was not sufficiently convincing for me - in terms of the need for its inclusion in the 2025 annual budget. Just my impression after reading it. We won't be able to fund all submitted projects and this one did not stand out as a necessity to me at this point in time. Maybe Catalyst could provide an alternative avenue if Catalyst is approved. I appreciate Andamio's contributions to the Cardano space.

Why cant project in need of your service hire you like customers and partners, as you are doing now? I do not see this as a CORE service that Cardano need to operate and maintain L0 and L1 of it's chain.

Who is accountable for these line items? What metrics define success?

-Technical Support – $50,000?

-Community Engagement – $18,000?

-Project Management – $36,000?

Justify the cost breakdown with performance-based milestones?
