Problem Statement

There is a huge appetite for education within the ecosystem, but all of these efforts are currently siloed and missing a coehisive structure, a journey to go from zero to hero. There is no overarching network that pulls together all of the available learning material to best leverage them in a context and environments that will encourage large groups of new participants to join the Cradano ecosystem.

Proposal Benefit

University Network
Generate a network of educational partners to collate and share a syllabus of intro and learning content This would include bringing together all of the global univesities currently working on Cardano based projects (reserch, teaching, delivery etc) Support learning and provide certification. Encourage people to become DReps or an SPO Sponsor and promote those new skills by creating opportunities with ecosystem partners Promote the success stories back through the education system for others to see that there is an opportunity Wider global exposure to student networks to learn and collaborate on Cardano educational programs

Creative Commons licensed Cardano Educational materials

  • Educational content is viewed by 30% of Intersect members.
  • Create material for the community to use, remix, recyle to create engaging educational resources
  • Increase in knowledge and awareness of Intersect and Cardano - what we do, how we benefit the wider Cardano ecosystem.
  • Global outreach. language accessibility
  • Educational materials to help enterprises to onboard to Cardano and better understand the value proposition of the technology and how to use Cardano in their initiatives

Key Proposal Deliverables

Tangible outcomes:

  1. Gain access to a wider global community of students who can be educated and inducted into the Cardano ecosystem as new participants

  1. Has this proposal been sufficiently socialized across social platforms such as X, and is there any evidence of meaningful community engagement (posts, discussions, likes, or retweets)?

  2. The proposal mentions a KPI that 30% of Intersect members will view the educational content. How will this be measured? Are there any KPIs that measure outreach beyond Intersect members into the broader Cardano community?

3 .How does the university network plan to connect with key ecosystem actors such as Catalyst proposers, SPOs, or dApp developers?

  1. Is there a reason why the $0.30 rate is being applied only to this proposal?

  2. My personal opinion is that the education programs being implemented by the Civic Committee and GMC are sufficient. Looking at the fact that many of INTERSECT's YouTube videos have fewer than 50 views, I don't think INTERSECT has the power to effectively disseminate these educational materials.
