Keeping Cardano true to its core values of people, purpose, technology, research, and opportunity. Prioritizing decentralization, sustainability, and user experience in all governance actions.
Objectives
Keeping Cardano true to its core values of people, purpose, technology, research, and opportunity. Prioritizing decentralization, sustainability, and user experience in all governance actions.
Motivations
- Decentralization: Keeping Cardano's decentralization a top priority and never sacrificing it in a feature trade-off. - Sustainability: Avoiding annual treasury spending that exceeds annual treasury earnings to keep the treasury cash flow positive. - Security: Ensuring that Cardano makes no compromises on the superior security that it's known for. - Growth: Focusing on treasury spending that bring end-users to products on Cardano, not just to the ADA token. - Scalability: Promoting scaling protocols to allow Cardano to increase its throughput and avoid severe network congestion. - User Experience: Supporting CIPs that provide developers the tools they need to build products with smooth end-user experiences.
Qualifications
Stake pool operator, Mithril signer, CIP contributor, Community script & bot maker, Scam prevention tool creator.

CARDANO BLOCKCHAIN ECOSYSTEM CONSTITUTION v2.4
# Three-line summary: 1. Cardano Constitution v2.4 removes non-binding expectations, the Budget Info Action mechanism, and mandatory CC conduct rules, streamlining governance. 2. It adds clear definitions, enforces immutability of proposal documents, and applies treasury audit/accountability safeguards to all withdrawals. 3. This version also incorporates feedback from EMURGO. # Three helpful links 1. Test title
Test Abstract
High-performance Rust Ogmios Client
We propose developing a high-performance Rust client library for Ogmios, enabling fast, safe, and efficient communication with the Cardano node. While a TypeScript client currently exists, there's a growing demand for Rust-based infrastructure, especially for backend applications requiring low latency, high throughput, and robust memory safety. The library will support all four Ogmios mini-protocols (chain sync, ledger queries, transaction submission, and mempool monitoring). It will be optimized using advanced techniques such as arena allocation, Struct-of-Arrays optimizations, and SIMD parsing, where appropriate. A complete example application and comprehensive test suite (unit, end-to-end, and live network) will ensure usability and reliability. This project lowers the barrier for Rust developers building on Cardano, improves performance for critical applications (e.g., trading bots, DEXes, mempool tools), and better integrates with Cardano's existing Rust-based serialization ecosystem.
