Cardano x Killer Whales show, media incubator & KOL partnership and Techstack on Cardano
This integrated proposal, with a 12 month runtime includes on-chain solutions that will allow the Cardano ecosystem to grow their reach, attract new builders, drive on-chain adoption and add Web3 native technology to the ecosystem.
Besides this tech-oriented solutions, we will partner in creating a series of community and builder focussed market activations. From Media and KOL integrations into hackathons, to 3 Cardano projects participating in a dedicated episode of Killer Whales, broadcasted on APPLE TV and Amazon prime, reaching over 600 million people in 65+ countries.
This differentiation power will allow builders on Cardano to work towards a unique incubation and promotional model. They have the chance to have their projects, dreams, and life’s work featured on global television and directly interact with the best KOLs, advisors, funding, and networks in the Web3 space. Builders can compete for a chance to participate and be selected to receive a global spotlight on the show and Web3 media services. From PR to direct interactions with our Killer Whales and network of partners. Also, the mainstream coverage is unmatched and could propel adoption, investor interest, and retail users.
The show will have its own dedicated episode about the Cardano ecosystem and will feature prominent (Cardano-friendly) ‘whales’ on the whale seats, along with the existing Whales. In this episode, we will bring forward 3 chosen projects that will try to persuade the Whales to support their venture, with an ADA grant, or support from the Killer Whale Mentors.
It allows for a show with an unmatched global reach, but it would also allow the community, developers, and founders to market their product in a new way. For the community, get a say and vote on-chain about which Cardano builder should be on the show, representing the Cardano ecosystem. Lastly, we would integrate the Killer Whales aspect into Cardano’s hackathons and events throughout the year, bringing the Whales to Cardano’s events and media coverage year-round.

LIQWID: A FULLY OPEN-SOURCE CARDANO PUBLIC GOOD
Liqwid as a Cardano Public Good: The open-sourcing of Liqwid v2 and v3 smart contracts will transform the protocol into a fully transparent, community-aligned public good. With the Liqwid Core Team maintaining and evolving the codebase, the protocol remains secure, adaptable, and everyone will be able to build upon it.
Developing complex, secure DeFi applications on Cardano is not trivial. The unique eUTxO accounting model introduces design challenges that require deep technical expertise and time-tested solutions. Peer-to-pool lending protocols—like Aave on Ethereum and Kamino on Solana—demand sophisticated smart contract architecture, liquidity provisioning models, and dynamic risk management. Liqwid is the only protocol on Cardano that has built and shipped this level of infrastructure.
Despite operating on a fraction of the budget of competitors like Aave or Kamino, Liqwid has achieved near-parity in functionality . This was made possible by four years of focused development, persistence, and world-class smart contract engineering.
Cardano future tailwinds such as successfully competing as a Bitcoin DeFi layer will depend on proven development teams who have built product market fit achieving DeFi products to build new applications that attract Bitcoin holders with simple to use but powerful DeFi primitives such as capital efficient pooled lending. Liqwid is one of the few Cardano DeFi protocols to have achieved this, and it has done so with a product—Bitcoin-backed loans—that BTC holders have consistently shown demand for.
Liqwid is the best positioned Cardano DeFi protocol to service this Bitcoin-backed loan demand with the development of a fully integrated Bitcoin portal once Cardano-Bitcoin bridge solutions are launched on mainnet.
